The mastermind behind this masterpiece is biochemist, real estate developer, businessman, and Crystal Lagoons founder, Fernando Fischmann. By utilizing some very innovative technology to make the water crystal clear, Fernando’s pool actually uses recycled seawater, which requires fewer additives. In fact, it uses the exact same types of products as traditional pools, but 100 times less. Guests of the San Alfonso del Mar can swim and even cruise around in small boats!
