Sweden’s Coolest Attraction: The Ice Hotel
The Ice Hotel in Sweden is 6,000 square feet of ice and snow, making it the biggest ice hotel in the world. The beds of the hotel are specially made of snow, ice and reindeer skins, and guests are given a thermal sleeping bag to keep warm as well. The hotel is rebuilt every winter after it melts, and each time it is rebuilt, changes are made to it, making for a truly unique experience for every visitor.

The hotel is open for just three months out of the year, but during these three short months, there are many things you can experience. The hotel boasts unbeatable views of the northern lights, hand-sculpted ice sculptures, an ice bar, an ice church, and of course, the opportunity to sleep on a bed of ice during your stay is an experience in and of itself.
